YSR Aarogyasri scheme budget
The Andhra Pradesh government announced the state budget for the upcoming financial year on 16 June 2020 during the assembly in Velagapudi. Finance Minister B Rajendranath Reddy presented a state budget of Rs 2,24,789.18 crore for twenty-one welfare schemes run by the state government in the name of late YS Raja Sekhar Reddy and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The YSR Aarogyasri Yojana is one of them and the government raised Rs 11,419 crore out of the budget for the scheme was announced.

- The beneficiary should have less than 35 acres of land including only wet and dry land.
- The applicant must have a municipal property tax payer of less than 3000 SFT (334 square yards).
- The beneficiary list also includes outsourcing, contracting, part-time employees and sanitation workers with an annual income of more than Rs 5 lack.
- Honorary remuneration workers and private sector employees working in the public sector can also avail.
- Families paying income tax of up to Rs 5 lack are also eligible.
