what is kanti velugu scheme
The YSR Kanti Velugu Scheme was launched on 10 October 2019 in Anantapur district on the occasion of “World Vision Day”. The YSR KVS is a free collective eye screening scheme implemented by the respective government of Andhra Pradesh. Natives of the state can get the benefits of the scheme. All beneficiaries are provided free eye check-up facility.
YSR Kanti Velugu Scheme New Update
Through YSR Kanti Velugu scheme, about 2488800 lakh beneficiaries, Hyderabad and 29640 lakh beneficiaries in Ranga Reddy district. Under the scheme, they are provided with reading and prescription glasses. Through YSR Kanti Velugu Scheme, a total of 2343642 persons from Andhra Pradesh have been provided reading glasses and 1495972 people have been provided with prescription glasses. There is an amount of Rs 196.79 crore in this scheme.
